Keysound Recordings are proud to announce “Traditions”, the sixth edition of the Rollage series by Dusk + Blackdown.

Traditions are long-established customs or beliefs that have been passed on from one generation to another, often orally. The roots of the word join fragments relating to “giving” and “across.”

Like every EP in the Rollage series, each of the four tracks is 130 bpm, cut from the same sonic project but is distinct in mood, pattern or intensity: dark halfstep, a pad roller, weightless and even some gqom-but-wrong.

That sense of creative freedom from within constraints is perhaps the series’ own sonic tradition, giving across styles and across eras, while at the same time optimistically looking forward to embrace new traditions as they emerge.
